The key to BETTER coaching

February 16th, 2018

Attending a coaching course is the beginning of the journey for a community football coach.

In 2018, Northern NSW Football (NNSWF) are delivering 137 coaching courses and will be providing every coach who completes an accredited Skill, Game, Senior and Goalkeeper training community coaching course with a USB containing coaching resources.

NNSWF Coach Education Coordinator, Tom Oldaker said that attending these community coaching courses will provide and benefit coaches with the tools to learn and develop as a coach.

“To ensure they continue to develop, coaches should coach as much as possible, self-reflect and expand their coaching knowledge by observing and talking to other coaches and club coach coordinators,” Oldaker said.

“The USB provides additional support for coaches post course and helps coaches to continually improve and develop.”

“NNSWF offers some of the cheapest coach education courses in Australia.”

“We are continually looking for ways we can provide increased value to our coaches as they play a vital role in providing the best football experience possible for our players,” Oldaker concluded.
