Weekend of 23rd to 26th April
We have reviewed our calendar of matches for the season and taken into consideration that the above is a long weekend, as well as the fact that Anzac Day falls on the Sunday. Due to the disruption a long weekend can have on teams, as well as the fact that no junior or senior female teams would be able to play a round on the Sunday, we have resolved the following:- Junior Competition - All grades, 6 to 16, will now commence on weekend of 30th April to 2nd May; Senior Competition - no Po

Walker & Petrie to Tokyo
Jaiden Walker and Kalen Petrie, a pair of local junior football players will take on the world in Tokyo after being named in a travelling NSW Under 14 squad. Walker and Petrie, who play for South Lismore, will come up against the best juniors from soccer powerhouses such as Brazil, Germany, Italy and South Korea in the Tokyo Youth Tournament from April 27. The seven day tournamanet includes two games a day with finals to be contested on a J-League pitch (where the professionals play).
Small Sided Football
Small Sided Football makes the game of football a better experience for children - more touches on the ball, more opportunities to make decisions, more actual play. The following will apply for 2010:- Grade 6 and 7 - 4 v 4, no goalkeeper on 20 x 30m pitch; Grade 8 and 9 - 7 v 7, with goalkeeper on 30 x 40m pitch; Grade 10 - 9 v 9, with goalkeeper on 40 x 60m pitch; Grade 11 will play 11 v 11 competition on full size field; Grade 10 will NOT be competitive in 2010
