2018 Match Officials Awards Day

The important contribution of match officials within the FFNC zone was recognised at an event that was held at Alstonville on Sunday.

The 2018 Match Officials Awards Day was held to acknowledge the individual and collective achievements of match officials this season. 60 people attended, including FNC Referees Life Members, match officials and their families, as well as other special guests.

We congratulate the award recipients and thank ALL match officials for their contribution in 2018.

Corey New Memorial Trophy – Rookie of the Year: Andrew Wicks
Assistant Referee of the Year: Samuel McCalman
Alistair Watts Trophy – Most Improved Junior Referee: Jacob Ross
Bob Beaumont Memorial Trophy – Most Improved Senior Referee: Jack Sullivan
Joe Pisani Trophy – Most Consistent Referee: Mathew Edmonds
Commitment to Refereeing: Graham Rosolen
Female Referee of the Year: Maddison Smith
Glen Gibbs Trophy – FFNC Referee of the Year: Anthony Smith
Deen Mohammed Trophy – Referee’s Referee: Ron Honeybun
