Shores United FC registrar Kim Fearnside has been announced as the Newcastle Permanent Building Society Volunteer of the Month for March 2016.

Kim has been an integral part of Shores United now for four years, where she is the club registrar, canteen convenor, secretary, number one supporter and taken on the role as club treasurer this season as well.

In addition to her extensive volunteer work for Shores, she is a married mother with several young children who keep her very busy at home. Kim’s energy seems to have no limits regardless of what demands are placed upon her and she is always positive, upbeat and admired by all who are involved at Shores United FC.

Shores United President Marc Patten said, “Put simply, our club would not be able to function without Kim. She is a person who thoroughly deserves recognition.”
