The three (3) day camps are an essential component of Northern NSW Football’s (NNSWF) Talented Player Pathway and assist to monitor talented players’ progress and provides an opportunity to identify players to represent Northern NSW at the FFA National Youth Championships.

Overseen by NNSWF Head of Football Peter Haynes, the Talent ID Camp will put the players through their paces consisting of coaching sessions, small sided games and 11 v 11 matches.

Haynes said it is pleasing to see the number of talented players from all-across the region come together.

“These Selection Camps are a great opportunity to identify and track how young talented players are progressing in the 14 and 15 years age-groups with their football and their commitment to progressing in the game.

“We invite the best talent from our Premier Clubs and Member Zones, and each year, with the ever-increasing accessibility to better coaching, facilities and competition,  we see further improvement in the quality of football we see – we expect the same this weekend,” concluded Haynes.
