Under magnificent clear skies, the 2016 football season started for most competitive teams over the weekend. All senior competitions commenced and a significant number of juniors also laced up the boots with great enthusiasm.
While results are a focus for many, the opportunity to participate is appreciated by thousands across the region. The skill level, fitness and priority to strive for a trophy are each measured differently and we applaud every participant for just wanting to be involved in the World Game.
The balance of competitive juniors (ages 12-16) will kick-off on the weekend of 29th/30th/1st May, with ALL Miniroos taking to the field on Saturday 30th April. FFNC continues to work through the jigsaw puzzle of constructing the balance of the competitions and we anticipate posting a further substantial amount of draws to the website within the next
7 days. These will be found in the fixtures and results section of the FFNC website, or you can click here.
Well done to everyone for being part of the game and we urge the RIGHT SPIRIT of RESPECT and APPROPRIATE BEHAVIOUR when you are participating in a game or when in attendance as a spectator.
