2018 Newcastle Permanent Grand Final Series Recap – Week Two

Week two of the 2018 FFNC Newcastle Permanent Grand Final Series saw the commencement of Men’s and Women’s Grand Final fixtures.

Grand Finals were played at John Ryan Field (Thistles) in East Lismore on the weekend, due to the unavailability of Oakes Oval and Crozier Field.

The results for all Grand Finals that were played on the weekend are listed below.

The last of the 2018 FFNC Newcastle Permanent Grand Finals will be played at Crozier Field in Lismore, with the highlights being the Men’s Premier Division at 5:30pm on Saturday 22nd September and the Women’s Premier Division at 3:30pm on Sunday 23rd September. Saturday 15th September

  • Men’s Division Five: Casino 2 def. Eureka 1
  • Men’s Division Four: Dunoon United def. Eureka 4-2 on penalties
  • Men’s Division Three: Mullumbimby Brunswick Valley def. Shores United 4-3 on penalties
  • Men’s Division Two: Lennox Head 1 drew with Uki Pythons 1 (both teams agreed to be declared JOINT Premiers)

Sunday 16th September

  • Women’s Division Five: Uki Pythons 3 def. Ballina 0
  • Women’s Division Four: Casino RSM Cobras 3 def. Ballina 0
  • Women’s Division Three: Byron Bay def. Italo Stars 2-0 on penalties
