The 2023 FFNC Annual Match Officials Seminar was held at the Workers Sports Club in Goonellabah on Sunday, with presentations from a number of keynote speakers.
The Annual Seminar is an important event held prior to the start of each season, bringing match officials together as a group to provide coaching presentations, instruction and support to best prepare individuals for the upcoming season. Of the 50 people in attendance, there was a number of returning match officials from last season, as well as a large group that came from those who attended one of our referee courses that have been held in November 2022 or January/February this year.
This year, Riley Kirkaldy – Referee Education & Development Co-ordinator at Northern NSW Football and Lee MacMaster – former leading FFNC referee, referee coach and NPL referee, joined FFNC Match Officials Development Officer, Anthony Smith, in delivering valuable coaching presentations.
There are minimal law changes for season 2023, however we encourage participants to review the changes and clarifications here
