FFNC wishes to confirm previous advice that all senior teams will have fixtures scheduled across the final two weekends of season 2020 – 18/19/20 September and 25/26/27 September.
At the conclusion of the pointscore rounds, the top four teams in each competition will participate in a modified finals series over two weekends which will be contested in an elimination format. The two winners of the semi-finals will play in a Grand Final. The two losing teams from the semi-final weekend will play in a consolation game against one of the other teams who failed to qualify for the finals series.
The teams that finish outside the top four will be scheduled to play in two consolation fixtures (except Men’s Championship League where two teams will play one consolation fixture).
Whilst these games will have no impact on the finishing position of teams in their respective competitions, the modified finals series and consolation fixtures for teams outside the top four seeks to maximise the participation opportunities for all participants in what has been a disrupted season.
FFNC clarifies that finals fixtures (and subsequently Grand Final) will not be scheduled in season 2020 for junior competitions (Grade 12 – 16). A pointscore winner will however be recognised for these junior competitions in season 2020.

FFNC recognise that some teams may choose to forfeit the two consolation fixtures. As such, we urge all participants and coaches of teams to notify their respective clubs with priority if they DO NOT intend to participate in any of the two consolation fixtures.

- SEMI-FINAL ONE: 1st placed team v 4th placed team
- SEMI-FINAL TWO: 2nd place team v 3rd place team
Week 2 (25/26/27 September):
- GRAND FINAL: Winner Semi-Final One v Winner Semi-Final Two
CONSOLATION GAMES
