Northern NSW Football (NNSWF) is pleased to announce Corey Boag as Football Far North Coast’s Newcastle Permanent Referee of the Month for April 2017.
Corey, from Casino, officiates matches for Football Far North Coast and has shown true dedication and passion for the game giving players, coaches and spectators the best experience possible.
“Corey has displayed all the attributes of not only a good Match Official but a good member of the Football Family. Refereeing is often a thankless task but I am very pleased to be able to thank and recognise the efforts of Corey and look forward to seeing him progress as a Match Official into the future,” NNSWF Community Football Manager Peter Haynes commented.
Newcastle Permanent Lismore Manager, Andrew Virtue congratulates Corey on becoming the recipient of the Newcastle Permanent Referee of the Month Award. “Referees are often unappreciated and under a lot of pressure. It great to see referees respected by their peers and players,” Virtue said.
Corey has received a referee spray jacket, cap, water bottle and a referee card set to assist in fulfilling his valuable duties on and off the field.
