2019 Tursa Employment & Training Summer Youth League

October 11th, 2019

The Tursa Employment & Training Summer Youth League will return for its twelfth year in 2019, with male and female competitions.

Male champions in 2018, Byron Bay, return to defend their trophy in what will be a strong competition, while Alstonville will again be looking to hold the trophy aloft in the Female competition against stiff competition from Byron Bay, Goonellabah and Lismore Thistles.

This Summer Youth League provides a good opportunity for developing players to gain experience that will assist them for future football at a high level. This post-season competition also provides an environment to support the development of match officials, which is significant as we continue to highlight the need to recruit more match officials.

Tursa Employment and Training is again the naming rights Strategic Partner, continuing a long and valued association with Football Far North Coast. With teams represented across the width and breadth of the local region, including Alstonville, Tintenbar-Ballina, Byron Bay, Casino, Lennox Head and Lismore, the Summer Youth League competitions showcase the very best of our emerging local talent.

Competition games will be played each Friday evening over a nine week period. Games are generally played at 6.30pm and 8pm, with 35 minute halves being played.
