Another CALL TO ARMS goes out aiming to recruit more match officials.
Despite player numbers being about 8000 locally, there are less than 130 registered match officials each season.
Adults are particularly needed, but if you are aged 13 years or older, you are invited to complete the following components to become an accredited match official;
- Online modules about the Laws of the Game
- Online theory about (i) Match control (ii) Positioning (iii) Technical Concepts and (iv) Game Management
- Practical course
We encourage candidates to commence the online components and then register for one of the practical courses that will proceed on
(1) Saturday 14th February (2) Sunday 12th April or (3) Sunday 14th June.
