The balance of the fixtures for each Coles MiniRoos pool and each junior (ages 12 – 16) and senior leagues competition have been published to the FFNC website.
FFNC continues to work through the rescheduling of more than 180 competition fixtures that have been postponed as a consequence of the lingering wet weather and the ongoing situation creating pitches that have been deemed as being unplayable.
We urge players, coaches, and parents to check the FFNC website regularly, as rescheduling too often creates uncertainty for many about a playing schedule that is necessarily fluid.
In particular, we highlight that a ‘home’ fixture is not guaranteed against every opposition team and we also recognise that the balance of ‘home and away’ fixtures will sometimes be uneven. The priority is to try and get games played, so FFNC will not consider a disparity of ‘home and away’ fixtures to be an error.
The disruption to season 2026 is very likely to require a review about the format of the Finals Series, as has occurred over recent seasons. This decision has NOT yet been made, however it is highly likely that we will again be heading this way in response to the factors relevant to delivering the season within various constraints.
