Competition remains extremely close across each of the Tursa Employment and Training ANZAC Cup and Callan McMillan competitions.
Powerhouse clubs of recent years, Byron Bay and Lismore Richmond Rovers, are sitting comfortably at the top of their respective pools, with Bangalow, Lismore Thistles and Goonellabah appearing to be the likely contenders for the other two semi-final positions. The closeness of the various competitions after two rounds makes it difficult to predict who will ultimately progress to the semi-finals and finals. All will be revealed after Round three this weekend.
The semi-final schedule for ANZAC Cup Men’s Premier Division, Open A and Open B will be released next week, while the two top teams from the points table after three rounds will qualify for the Grade 16 FINAL. In Callan McMillan, the winners of the respective Pool A and Pool B competitions will progress to their FINAL.
Callan McMillan Finals will be played at Oakes Oval, Lismore on Friday 22nd April, with the B Division Final to kick-off at 5.45pm and the A Division scheduled for 7.45pm.
Anzac Cup Finals will be played at Oakes Oval Lismore on SATURDAY 23rd April, with Grade 16 to kick-off at 11.30am, Open B at 1.30pm, Open A at 3.45pm and Men’s Premier Division at 6pm.
