Byron Bay FC has claimed its 7th Summer Youth League title, after being crowned Champions for 2023.
The competition went down to the wire, with Lismore Richmond Rovers sitting atop the table going into the last round. Rovers needed to secure 3 points in the final round, however, was unable to defeat third placed Goonellabah FC and remained on 21 points after ten matches played. Byron Bay FC moved past Rovers, when the coastal side defeated Lismore Thistles and ended the competition on 23 points, which was enough to be declared Champions for 2023.
Ballina SC, left its best performance to the last round and secured its first win for the competition, with an exciting 3-2 victory over Alstonville FC in an encouraging end to its Summer Youth League campaign.
