On the back of record player numbers in 2024, this season is on track to see football progress even further, with the number of competition teams climbing to 259 (up from 251 in 2024). Player registrations are already at 6000 (which is on track to again achieve close to 8000 players this season).
We anticipate there potentially being in excess of 400 MiniRoos teams nominated when we reconcile team numbers at the end of March, so we should celebrate the fact that football remains the most popular teams participation sport in this region. Please spread the word that the registration window is OPEN until 30 June, but it is wise to ‘sign-up’ with priority, or you could miss out on finding a team/club.
In a spirit of open disclosure, the summary of team nominations for 2025 is outlined below, but NOTE that teams have not yet been graded and you may recognise that FFNC will necessarily move some teams from where clubs nominated them to participate.
