Festive Season 2016

December 16th, 2016

Santa and his helpers are busily packing the sled with footballs, boots and shin pads for delivery to thousands of children around the world in about one week and so it is that Football Far North Coast staff must take some time away from the office.

Season 2017 is just around the corner and before we return next year renewed with enthusiasm for another bumper year, we wish to say thank you to everyone who has made such a wonderful contribution to community football in 2016.

At the top of this list are the club volunteers whose generosity and commitment sustains our sport. It is our pleasure to work with a group of people who support their respective club activity, typically working long hours on football matters and often with limited recognition of their efforts. Thanks to you all and we hope that Christmas will enable you to reflect on the many positive reasons for being a volunteer and we hope you feel extremely satisfied for all that you have done in 2016.

Thanks also to our valued Strategic Partners and Stakeholders who all contribute to effectively managing community football across so many boundaries and needs.

The FFNC office will be closed from Friday 16th December and will re-open on Monday 16th January 2017, although emails to the General Manager will be viewed periodically and urgent phone calls answered on 0438 215 593.

We remind member clubs that player registrations will formally open 1st February 2017 (or after 1st January for existing players, where clubs have completed the MFC online process).

Stay safe and we look forward to seeing you all for season 2017.
