rebel Female Football Week (FFW) officially launches today, Friday, March 2nd. The national initiative gives the football community the chance to celebrate the immense growth of the women’s game and acknowledge existing players, coaches, referees and administrators in football.
Northern NSW Football (NNSWF) Member Zone Football Far North Coast (FFNC) and clubs have joined in on the festivities and are holding events within the area within the week.
With a number of events held through the week, special guests including Newcastle Jets Westfield W-League players Tara Andrews and Cortnee Vine will be joining in on the celebrations.
Also within the week, NNSWF will be announcing various awards across the region including Female Administrator of the Year, Female Coach of the Year, Male Champion of the Year and Female Player of the Year.
This year, NNSWF is pleased to announce Teja (pronounced Taya) Claire of Shores United Soccer Club from Far North Coast as NNSWF’s Female Coach of the Year.
