FFNC has released a DRAFT schedule (i.e. applicable weekends) on which the various semi-finals, finals and grand finals are proposed to be played in season 2024.
Planning for a centralised grand finals series will again be prevented, with neither Oakes Oval, Lismore nor Crozier Field, Lismore, being available during the period required for FFNC grand finals this year.
A modified finals series (held over two weekends for each competition) will be contested for all senior leagues and junior competitions with the top four teams qualifying (except in a couple of specific five-team competitions and where otherwise advised) in the following format:
- Match A, being Team 1 vs Team 4
- Match B, being Team 2 vs Team 3
The winner of each semi-final will contest the grand final in each competition.
Fixtures (including Grand Finals) will ordinarily be scheduled at the venue of the higher ranked team (based on the final pointscore ranking). Any variation to the scheduling (e.g. for reasons such as the impact of conditions), will be at the discretion of FFNC.
