Football is in Great Shape

August 2nd, 2021

Season 2021 is well advanced and we are delighted to report that participation in season 2021 demonstrates a renewed enthusiasm for the game that has rebounded in brilliant fashion from the disrupted and impeded 2020 season (as a consequence of covid-19).

THANKS to everyone who continues to contribute to the efforts within community football, most notably, every club volunteer.

The summary of registrations (effective 1st July 2021) within FFNC is disclosed below.

  • PLAYER registrations;
7077
  • COACH or a TEAM OFFICIAL;
731
  • VOLUNTEER;
456
  • REFEREES;
122

We may hope that season 2021 can proceed to completion over coming weeks without undue impact from covid-19.

It is very clear that Community Football is sustained by the vibrancy of CLUBS and Football Far North Coast further recognises that sound relationships within the community is what underpins the heartbeat of grassroots football.
