Local football activity is in recess over the June Long Weekend with no FFNC competition fixtures scheduled.
There is however football to watch when Alstonville FC host Newcastle Olympic FC at Crawford Park, Alstonville in Round 6 of the Australia Cup. Kick-off for this match is 2:30pm. Local fans will also be tuned into news from Newcastle where Bangalow SC meet Broadmeadow Magic FC, also in a Round 6 Australia Cup fixture.
Some teams will return to football from Tuesday 13th June with midweek games to proceed, with most other teams in junior competitions and senior leagues returning for the weekend 16/17/18 June and MiniRoos teams scheduled to play Saturday 17th June.
