Every registered player aged 5, 6 or 7 in 2026, will receive a FREE football courtesy of Newcastle Permanent.
An anticipated 1500 players in this age demographic are predicted to register, following on from the record numbers in 2026, where almost 8000 players from age 5 to adults, again signed up to play football.
Football has the highest participation numbers of any sport in Australia and the opportunity exists to get involved as a player, referee, coach or volunteer. To register in one or more of these roles, PlayFootball is the online platform to start the process of getting involved in football this year.
