The respective pools for each MiniRoos age (6 – 11) has been confirmed and advised to clubs with the first week of games set to kick-off this Saturday 29th April).
A total of 344 teams (including 44 all-girls teams) have nominated for 2023, which is fantastic to see in the year that will see the world’s best female players celebrated when the FIFA Women’s World Cup takes place in Australia and New Zealand.
We remind parents and coaches, that the primary purpose of MiniRoos is participation and fun, so we urge that the focus is on ‘letting the kids play‘, rather than the pressure to score goals, win games or to be a superstar. Let’s celebrate the joy that our children and grandchildren get from kicking a ball with their friends.
