Players aged 5 to 11 have come forward in extraordinary numbers this season, with 410 MiniRoos teams nominated. This is 60 more teams than the previous highest number of 350 MiniRoos teams that have ever been nominated.
The explosion of interest in football, includes many more girls only teams, which is logically a consequence of the ‘Matildas effect’.
The draw for respective POOLS, will be posted to the FFNC website in coming weeks. This will include a Skills Acquisition Phase (SAP) Pool for ages 9, 10 and 11, in response to the demand from various clubs.
Miniroos start on Saturday 4th May.
