2021 Match Official Awards

October 14th, 2021

Football Far North Coast wish to thank and acknowledge the valued contribution of match officials in season 2021.

Unfortunately, due to covid related shutdowns and restrictions, the annual Match Officials Awards Day was unable to be held this year. Although it’s disappointing that the awards day was unable to be held in it’s formal fashion this year, it is still important that individuals are recognised for their outstanding achievements this season.

We congratulate the match official award recipients;

Corey New Memorial Trophy – Rookie of the Year: Mark Barnes
Assistant Referee of the Year: Jakira Toniello
Alistair Watts Trophy – Most Improved Referee 18 years & youngers: Jamai O’Malley
Bob Beaumont Memorial Trophy – Most Improved Referee 19+ years: Luka Taylor
Tanya de Boer Trophy – Female Referee of the Year: Olivia Flannery
Glen Gibbs Trophy – FFNC Referee of the Year: Anthony Smith

FFNC thank ALL match officials for their contribution in 2021 and we hope to see many more people take up this important role next season!
