New Referees Course

FFNC are running a New Referees Course in Lismore on Sunday 24th April to give an opportunity to those who wish to become a referee in 2016 but have not been able to attend our previous courses.

Sunday 24th April: 10am – approx. 5pm.

Venue
Southern Cross Football Centre – Crawford Road, East Lismore

Cost & Inclusions
The cost of the course is $50 per person, to be paid on the day by cash or cheque.
This cost covers a FIFA Laws of the Game book plus further teaching material, a whistle,  a set of red & yellow cards, set of Assistant Referee flags and lunch/beverages.

Eligibility
Participants should currently be 13 years of age or older OR turning 13 no later than 31st of May 2016 (noting that participants CANNOT be appointed on matches until they turn 13).

Requirements
1.    To register for this course please click here
2.    BEFORE the first session ALL participants must complete the online Laws of the Game (OLTG) Certificate. This can be completed by clicking here.
Participants can register for the upcoming course first, but this certificate MUST be completed BEFORE attending the course. The time required to complete the OLTG Certificate will vary based on previous knowledge and experience. Participants should allow AT LEAST one hour to complete the certificate, however it may take up to two – three hours. All answers are provided within learning material in the OLTG certificate.
3.    Participants should bring a pen/pencil and something to write notes in for both sessions of the course.
4.    Participants should wear suitable clothing for some short outdoor activities (weather permitting).
