Northern NSW Football (NNSWF) will be holding a FREE Coaching Workshop at Bangalow Football Club on Thursday 31st January from 5pm-8pm.
The workshop is intended for coaches who are currently coaching in the Skill Acquisition Program (SAP) pilot in the Football Far North Coast region and for coaches who are interested in coaching male and female players from the ages of 9 years to 12 years. The workshop is also for coaches who are interested in learning about the FFA’s new Skill Acquisition Phase coaching method.
The day will include practical and theory presentations on the new SAP G.I.G Methodology as well as provide the participants with the opportunity to discuss the SAP program in Northern NSW and in the Far North Coast region.
NNSWF Technical Advisor Leo Bertos said it’s a tremendous opportunity for local coaches to gain a stronger understanding of the game.
“I am looking forward to meeting SAP coaches in the Football Far North Coast region and being able to discuss their thoughts around last year’s SAP pilot program,” Bertos said.
“I am also looking forward to discussing and showcasing the new SAP coaching methodology which was introduced by the FFA late last year.
“I am hoping that we can get a good number of coaches along for this free workshop as it is a great opportunity for extensive learning,” he concluded.
