Planning is well underway for what is anticipated to be a bigger year of football in 2027 and hopefully with favourable weather conditions.
The registration window for players, team officials, volunteers and match officials will officially open on 1st February 2027, with all registrations to again be completed online via PlayFootball. Make sure you save the date and register early so you get a spot, as football continues to surge across the region.
It is anticipated that pre-season competitions will commence in late February, with senior competition fixtures expected to kick off in late March. The first weekend of Coles MiniRoos football (for players aged 5-11) is anticipated to start on Saturday 1st May 2027. Expressions of Interest for clubs to host Coles MiniRoos Gala Days will be invited from February 2027.
More information about the broader domestic schedule (ages 12-senior) will be released later this year.
