Season 2020 Concludes

Football Far North Coast congratulates the respective clubs and their teams who claimed the pointscore competitions and senior grand finals in season 2020.

The senior grand finals draw an end to a modified season 2020 that saw many challenges presented along the way.  We thank respective clubs, their volunteers, team officials and players for their ongoing work and support of community football and for working through the challenges of season 2020.

Thanks also for various strategic partners, most notably Newcastle Permanent Building Society and Tursa Employment & Training, for “staying the course” to help football support our community during these tough times.

Let’s hope that 2021 arrives with an opportunity to see football progress bigger and better!

We trust that every Miniroos players enjoyed their football experience and will return next season for more football fun.

Grand Final Results for the respective senior competitions are listed below:

WOMEN’S COMPETITIONS

Premier League:       Lennox Head FC 2 defeated Alstonville FC 1

League 3:                   Ballina SC 3 defeated Uki Pythons SC 1

League 4:                   Dunoon United FC 3 defeated South Lismore FC 2 in extra-time

League 5:                   Eureka FC 1 defeated Woodburn FC 0

 

MEN’S COMPETITIONS

Premier League:                   Byron Bay FC 2 defeated South Lismore FC 0

Championship League:        Lismore Richmond Rovers FC 2 defeated Byron Bay FC 0

League 1:                               Nimbin Headers SC 2 defeated Lennox Head FC 1 in extra time

League 2:                               Pottsville Beach FC 2 defeated Byron Bay FC 1

League 3:                               Ballina SC 3 defeated Eureka FC 2
