Northern NSW Football is pleased to announce Steve Wilson as Football Far North Coast’s Newcastle Permanent Volunteer of the Year for 2021.

Steve was nominated by Tintenbar East Ballina FC for his commitment over the duration of his service to the club.

“Finding volunteers as enthusiastic and selfless as Steve is the goal for all sporting clubs across Australia,” NNSWF Community Football Manager Ross Hicks said.

“His contribution has been key in the club’s sustained success and it is satisfying to be able to acknowledge the effort and hard work Steve has provided Tintenbar East Ballina FC over the years.”

Newcastle Permanent Ballina Branch Lending Manager David Parker congratulated Steve on becoming the recipient of the Football Far North Coast Newcastle Permanent Volunteer of the Year Award.

“Volunteers are the vital backbone to football. Without dedicated volunteers like Steve, community football would not happen every weekend,” Parker said.

“We thank and congratulate Steve for his valuable contribution.”
