Suspension of Football: Football Far North Coast

August 10th, 2021

URGENT ADVICE

The NSW Government has announced stay-at-home orders for Byron Shire, Richmond Valley, Lismore and Ballina Shire LGAs.

This is effective from 3:30pm Saturday, 14 August 2021.

All football activities within these LGAs are suspended until stay-at-home orders are lifted by the NSW Government.

What does this mean for Football on the Far North Coast?

  • All games, training and other football activities are prohibited
  • You must comply with the stay at home orders
  • Steve Mackney, Football Far North Coast General Manager, will communicate with clubs in due course, to provide information in regards to the remainder of the season

We understand this is a disappointing situation, however everyone is encouraged to follow the health orders and stay safe.

The hope is that we can get back to playing, watching and enjoying the game when as restrictions ease.

In the short term, CLUB delegates can direct enquiries to Steve Mackney general.manager@ffnc.net.au
