Football Far North Coast congratulates the Match Officials who were appointed during the Grand Final Series that was contested across the 13 Senior Leagues and 16 Junior Competitions over the last four weekends.
The medallion presented to each match official in each grand final is to recognise their efforts during season 2023 and for being selected to officiate in a grand final. Like players, match officials aim to participate in the Finals Series and the message to everyone is to applaud their contribution through being respectful and appreciative of the role of a match official.
We urge more people (especially senior players, coaches, parents and spectators) to step forward and become a match official ahead of season 2024. Without match officials, there will be even more demands upon club volunteers, so PLEASE do what you can to help to identify more match officials
Details about an upcoming Level 4 (new referees) course to be convened on 29th October have been released and FFNC encourages players, team officials and parents, to ‘step up’ and become part of the ever-present challenge of recruiting, retaining and supporting MORE match officials.
