The ANZAC Cup and Callan McMillan competitions kick-off their 69th and 41st year respectively this Friday night.
Tursa Employment and Training continue their strategic alignment with Football Far North Coast as naming right sponsors and we now look forward to some fantastic football in these pre-season competitions, with a cracking match between defending champions Byron Bay and Goonellabah on Sunday being the anticipated highlight. The proud history of the Callan McMillan Memorial Shield competition that was first played in 1978 will see female players contest both A Division and B Division, with the Men competing in Premier Division, Open A, Open B and a mixed Grade 16 competition.
More than fifty teams will play in the popular pre-season format that is scheduled over three weekends, with a Final played in each competition on the weekend of 21st and 22nd April at Lismore’s Crozier Field.
The draw for each competition can found on the FFNC website, by clicking here.
We wish all players and match officials an enjoyable start to season 2018.
