Westfield FFA Cup Date Announced

May 6th, 2016

The next round of the FFA Cup has now been determined, with Bangalow SC to represent FFNC against North Coast Football zone winners, Urunga FC.

The Bluedogs were too strong for Lismore Thistles in the last round of the Westfield FFA Cup, scoring four goals to one in a comprehensive victory. Josh Cole was the star for Bangalow scoring three goals, in a team that appears to be gaining momentum as the season progresses.

This next round match will see Urunga FC, who defeated Coffs United 3-0 in their last round, travel to Jeff Schneider Field, Bangalow to take on the Bluedogs at 2pm on Saturday 21st May. The winner of that match will progress to the Northern NSW Football quarter finals on 18th June at the Lake Macquarie Regional Football Facility.

Football Far North Coast will propose to again meet the cost of the FFA Cup nomination fee for up to TEN (10) clubs/teams in 2017 and we encourage clubs to start planning for their place in this prestigious competition for next year.
