The 2020 season will again see several law changes come into effect in Football Far North Coast competitions, following the annual review of the laws by FIFA and IFAB (International Football Association Board).
Amongst the changes to the laws, there is a significant change regarding handling the ball. We want to ensure that ALL participants and other stakeholders are aware of this significant change, along with all the law changes that will come into effect this season.
These law changes were presented to club delegates at the Annual FFNC Clubs Forum that was held in early February and FFNC is also encouraging clubs to arrange for senior match officials to come and speak with players, coaches and other club stakeholders regarding these law changes and also to have a conversation about the laws of the game more generally. Senior match officials have been visiting member clubs over the past few weeks and we ask clubs who have not yet confirmed a visit, to contact FFNC to arrange this.
