Match officials were recently recognised for their individual achievements and collective contribution throughout season 2022, with the Match Officials Awards Day being held at the Lismore Workers Sports Club in Goonellabah on Saturday 5th November.
Match officials and their family attended, along with Life Members from the Far North Coast Referees Association, representatives from FFNC and other special guests.
We congratulate the award recipients and thank ALL match officials for their contribution in 2022. The list of award recipients is as follows;
Corey New Memorial Trophy – Rookie of the Year: Kris Saville
Assistant Referee of the Year: Coen Jobson
Alistair Watts Trophy – Most Improved Junior Referee: Cooper McLean
Bob Beaumont Memorial Trophy – Most Improved Senior Referee: Adrian Lanyon
Joe Pisani Trophy – Most Consistent Referee: Luka Taylor
Commitment to Refereeing: Tristan Smith
Tanya de Boer Trophy – Female Referee of the Year: Kiara Jobson
Glen Gibbs Trophy – FFNC Referee of the Year: Anthony Smith
Deen Mohammed Trophy – Referee’s Referee: Anthony Smith
Football Far North Coast are running a Level 4 New Referees Course at Alstonville on Sunday 27th November 2022, at NO cost to participants (includes all course items, gear and match official registration to be able to start officiating next season).
