It is time to get around the champions in your club and celebrate the people doing great things on and off the pitch with the return of the Northern NSW Football Local Champion Awards for 2023.
The NNSWF Local Champion Awards are a monthly shout out to individuals and teams who make a difference across the football family.
NNSWF are shining the floodlights on these legends to recognise and reward their commitment to their club, community and football, with nominations now open for May.
NNSWF Project Manager – Club Development Phillip Andrews said the Local Champion Awards were a great opportunity to recognise some of the most valuable people in the football community.
“Community football clubs are the lifeblood of our game and those clubs are filled with so many wonderful, selfless people,” Andrews said.
“These people deserve to be recognised for their contribution and I’m so glad we are able to do that through the Local Champion Awards.
“This is a fantastic way for any person associated with football to nominate a recipient and recognise the contribution they make to the game.”
