RULES ABOUT ALCOHOL AT COMMUNITY SPORT

Any sporting club in Australia that wants to sell alcohol, or even wants to let members and guests bring their own drinks, must have a liquor licence. No liquor licence – No alcohol.

Football Far North Coast further prohibits the sale or consumption of alcohol at JUNIOR fixtures.

Most councils prohibit GLASS containers (e.g. stubbies), from sporting venues.

SMOKING OR VAPING PROHIBITED AT A SPORTING VENUE

Smoking or vaping at any sporting venue are prohibited under NSW Legislation

On the spot fines of $300 may apply to individuals who smoke in spectator areas at public sports grounds or other recreational areas during organised sporting events’
