Wet weather caused an almost complete wash-out of fixtures for Round One, so Football Far North Coast has made a decision to re-schedule all SENIOR fixtures to 19/20/21 July.
An assessment of how to re-schedule JUNIOR competition fixtures, will be made in due course. It is anticipated that most junior fixtures will see teams scheduled to play TWO matches on a given weekend, with no ‘spare’ weekends available. FFNC recognises that parents are generally not comfortable with having their children playing mid-week games. FFNC will do what it can to deliver an appropriate schedule, with fixtures posted to the website in coming weeks.
Nobody can control the weather, so despite a disrupted start to season 2024, every reasonable effort will be made to get things back on track.
