The Tursa Employment and Training Summer Youth League returns to the Football Far North Coast calendar after a three year hiatus, when the 2023 SYL competition kicks off on Friday night 13th October.
Two years impacted by covid and dire consequences in 2022 due to floods, have prevented this popular competition being played since 2019, so there is enthusiastic anticipation to see this post-season football activity back on track.
Six teams will contest the title, with a format in place where each team plays ten matches over the next ten Friday nights. The team that finishes highest on the points table after all matches have been played, will be declared Champions.
Byron Bay FC will be aiming to defend the title won in 2019 and add to its impressive six past Summer Youth League titles.
Matches kick off at 6.30pm each Friday night and are played as 35 minute halves.
